Wilmore, KY- The Lady Scots of Covenant College suffered yet another tough loss on Saturday, coming out on the wrong side of a 1-0 contest against Asbury College. Rebecca Batey put the home side up in the 50th minute after scoring off a well-placed through-ball, and goalkeeper Melanie Dickson made three saves to keep the scales tilted in Asbury's favor for the entirety of the game. Despite outshooting Asbury 10-7, Covenant was unable to pick up any sort of result as they dropped to 6-7-2 on the season. Becky Galage and Kasey Craft led the team with two shots each, and senior Sarah Williams led the goalies with two saves. In their next match, the Lady Scots will travel to face Reinhardt College on Tuesday for their final AAC match-up of the season.
