Kissimmee, FL- Saturday saw the Covenant College Lady Scot's soccer team drop their final game of the season 2-1 to Judson University in the third place match at the NCCAA National Tournament. After narrowly missing out on a finals appearance by losing in a penalty shootout to #1 seed Olivet Nazarene on Thursday, the Lady Scots were unable to muster up enough strength to overcome Judson University. The game ended with the Eagles claiming victory, but standout seniors Becky Galage and Jenny Carter were able to team up one final time for the Scot's only goal of the game. Galage was the goalscorer, and Carter the assister, as Covenant fought hard only to end up on the wrong side of the score sheet. With the season now finished, the Lady Scots end 2009 with a 9-9-4 record.
