ATLANTA, Ga. -- Despite 20 kills from Chelsea Van Dyk, the Covenant volleyball team saw its seven-game win streak come to an end with a 3-2 defeat (17-25, 29-27, 24-26, 25-18, 15-13) at the hands of Oglethorpe on Wednesday night.
In addition to her kills, Van Dyk also contributed with two block solos and four block assists. Stephanie Kirkpatrick tallied 31 assists for Covenant (14-4). Defensively, Estes Carlson recorded 16 digs with Paige Cheney chipping in 12.

Covenant returns to the court on Saturday when they host a tri-match at Barnes PE Center as part of Covenant's 2012 Homecoming. The Lady Scots take on GSAC foe Wesleyan at 11 a.m. and then Asbury at 3 p.m. Wesleyan and Asbury will face each other in the middle match at 1 p.m.
