ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. -- The Covenant women's soccer match at North Carolina Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon was postponed due to severe weather in the Rocky Mount area. No makeup date has been announced.

The two teams played just over five mintues before having to clear the field due to lightning. Due to N.C. Wesleyan not having lights on its field, it was determined there was not enough daylight to finish the match after the NCAA mandatory 30 minute delay for lightning.

Covenant's next scheduled match is Wednesday at home against Huntingdon at 5 p.m.
