LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN -- The Covenant women's soccer team will look to extend their season another week when they play this Saturday, but will have to get through a tough Methodist team playing at home to do so.

The sixth-seeded Lady Scots (9-9-1, 7-4 USA South) will head out to Fayetteville, N.C. to take on the third-seeded Monarchs at 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

The last time these two teams met, Methodist took home a 3-1 victory on October 10. The match was also played in Fayetteville.

Covenant was also the sixth-seed in last year's tournament and went on the road to upset third-seed, and defending USA South champions, Averett 1-0. The Lady Scots then fell to eventual tournament champion Piedmont in the semifinals.

The winner will have earned the opportunity to travel up to Martinsville, Va., where they will match up against either seventh-seeded N.C. Wesleyan or second-seeded Piedmont in the conference semifinals next Friday, Nov. 7.
