CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - In the CCS Championship match, Covenant had an opportunity to avenge its only conference loss of the year against Piedmont. The Scots swept doubles and didn't look back, winning their second CCS Tournament in a row.

Records: Covenant (13-11, 5-1 CCS), Piedmont (19-7, 6-0 CCS)
DOUBLES:
- Ben Onufrock and Austin Dreslinksi wasted no time in the No. 1 doubles slot, defeating Silas Sandles and Mark Backeberg 8-3.
- In the No. 2 position, Solomon Crouch and Brock Boehling played a thrilling match with Charles Parnell and Michael Porcelli and ultimately won in a tiebreak 8-7 (9-7). Crouch and Boehling fought off a match point earlier in the tiebreak before earning the Scots a point.
- Caleb Domkowski and Gill Dunn took care of business in the No. 3 slot, winning 8-5 over Connor Phelps and Yannick Wassmer Navarro.
SINGLES:
- In what turned out to be the clinching match, Onufrock defeated Wassmer Navarro 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 1 slot.
- Dreslinski's score against Bryce VanOrder in the No. 2 position at the time of match being called was 3-6, 5-1.
- Domkowski sealed the deal for his two-point afternoon with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Backeberg in the No. 3 ranked match.
- Crouch lost his first set in a tiebreak to Porcelli in the No. 4 slot minutes before the clinching point happened.
- Piedmont's only win came in the No. 5 position as Dunn was defeated 1-6, 2-6 by Roman Kavali.
- Graham Hayes was ahead 6-4, 1-4 in the No. 6 slot before the match was called.
After the match, Boehling and Crouch were named to the CCS All-Tournament team while Onufrock earned CCS Tournament MVP honors.
UP NEXT: Covenant will wait to see if it earns a Pool B bid to the NCAA Tournament.
