DEMOREST, Ga. - In a battle of two teams that were undefeated in conference play, Covenant traveled to Piedmont. The Lions reigned superior today to move ahead of the Scots in the CCS standings.

Records: Covenant (8-10, 2-1 CCS), Piedmont (14-5, 3-0 CCS)
DOUBLES:
- Ben Onufrock and Austin Dreslinki put the Scots on the board with an 8-5 win in the No. 1 slot over Silas Sandles and Simon Johnstone.
- Piedmont bounced back as Charles Parnell and Mike Porcelli defeated Caleb Domkowski and Solomon Crouch in the No. 2 slot 8-4.
- Brock Boehling and Gill Dunn fell short to Yannick Wassmer Navarro and Connor Phelps 5-8 as the Lions took a 2-1 lead into singles.
SINGLES:
- Onufrock clinched a 2-0 day with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Wassmer Navarro in the No. 1 position.
- Dreslinski sent the No. 2 ranked match to a third set, but fell 6-4, 3-6, 5-7 to Bryce VanOrder.
- Domkowski was defeated by Mark Backeberg 2-6, 4-6 in the No. 3 slot.
- Crouch sent his match to a tiebreak as he lost 3-6, 6-3 (9-11) to Phelps in the No. 4 position.
- Dunn took home a 0-6, 2-6 loss to Porcelli in the No. 5 ranked match.
- Hayes sent the final match to a tiebreak, but just like Crouch, fell short 7-5, 3-6 (9-11) to Sandles.
