FLOWOOD, Miss. - The Men's Golf "B Team" played in the Belhaven Invitational over the last two days as players outside the top of the lineup got the chance to represent Covenant in a tournament setting. The Scots finished 10th out of 11 teams, shooting rounds of (+42) and (+31) as a team.
INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCES:
Ayden Cordell led the way for Covenant by finishing tied for 14th out of a field of 60 players at (+8). He shot a 78 (+6) for his first round, followed by a 74 (+2) for his second. The 74 was the 10th-best round shot by the field on day two.
Garrett Humbert was the Scots' second-lowest scorer as he finished tied for 37th at (+16). The freshman tallied a round of 81 (+9) on day one and a 79 (+7) on day two, which included four birdies.
Next for Covenant was Isaac Randolph, who finished the tournament at (+24) to finish tied for 48th. Randolph shot an 88 (+16) before bouncing back with an 80 (+8) to finish as the third-lowest scorer for the Scots.
Jonathan Brezina was another golfer in the lineup for the Scots, finishing the tournament tied for 55th at (+28). The Senior shot an 86 (+14) both days.
Tristan Mayhand finished 58th with rounds of 85 (+13) and 92 (+20), rounding out Covenant's starting five. 
Austin Jones competed as an individual and finished tied for 48th at (+24). The freshman shot an 84 (+12) on both days of the tournament.
