LAGRANGE, Ga. – Covenant traveled to LaGrange on Saturday for its first CCS road match. It was a promising start for the away side, however two second-half goals for the Panthers saw the match end in a tie.Â

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Both sides managed just one shot off target in the first 30 minutes of the match.
- In the 35th minute, Covenant took a 1-0 lead as senior Adelle Stumbo scored her first goal of the year, assisted by Campbell Ayres.Â
- The Scots had the last two chances of the half as AnnaLi Weekley and Charlotte Jerdal each had shots saved by the Panthers' goalie.Â
- At the intermission, Covenant had outshot LaGrange 4-1.Â
- Shortly after the second half began, senior Hannah Ford scored for the Scots off a cross from Georgie Strawbridge to make it 2-0.Â
- LaGrange responded as Gabby Worthy scored two goals in quick succession to tie the match up at the 68-minute mark.Â
- LaGrange's keeper made three saves in the final 18 minutes to earn the tie as Covenant looked to take back the lead.Â
GAME NOTES:
- Covenant moves to 17-0-3 all-time against LaGrange.
- Covenant outshot LaGrange 14-6 and had a 9-4 advantage in shots on goal.Â
- LaGrange had a higher foul count at 9-4 while neither team was assessed any yellow cards.Â
- Corner kicks were 4-2 in Covenant's favor.Â
