Biography

Ellie is one of five freshman joining the Lady Scots softball team this season.

Her parents are Harry (played basketball at Dordt College) and Dori Groenendyk. She has an older brother, Jake (ran cross country at Covenant), and two younger siblings, Jess and Hannah. When she is not playing softball, Ellie enjoys dancing, reading, and hanging out with friends. One of her favorite Bible verses is Romans 6:14 which says, "For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace."

Ellie is majoring in Spanish and minoring in Business. She is uncertain about her plans after Covenant, but is looking forward to where God will lead her.
