Covenant College

Grace is one of five juniors representing the Lady Scots softball team this season. During her career at Covenant, Grace was awarded the GSAC Sportsmanship Award during her sophomore season. Prior to Covenant, Grace played softball for Christ Presbyterian Academy where she was named an All-District Player (So., Jr., Sr.) and the Academic Athlete of the Year (Sr.). She also her lead her team as a captain in her senior season.

Her parents are David and Chris Hooper. She has two older borhters, Will and Bob (both played football at Samford); an older sister, Sydney; and younger twin brothers, Jack and Ben. When she is not playing softball, Grace enjoys driving to music, playing any kind of game, and being with her 3C ladies in Carter Hall. One of her favorite Bible verses is Philippians 1:6 which says, "And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day fo Jesus Christ."

Grace is majoring in History and minoring in Secondary Education. After her senior year at Covenant, she would like to complete the MAT program at Covenant and continue on to teach history and coach at the high school level.
