Covenant College

Ryan joins the Scots this season as a freshman infielder. Prior to Covenant, Ryan played baseball for Forsyth Central High School where he was an All-Region player (Jr., Sr.) and received the Gold Glove Award (Jr., Sr.) for his baseball achievements there. He also played travel ball for Team Elite Baseball under Head Coach Brad Bouras.

His parents are Tom and Kim Driesse. He has a younger sister, Lauren. When he is not playing or practicing baseball for the Scots, Ryan enjoys golfing, working out, working on his car, spending time with friends and family, and teaching young kids how to play baseball. One of his favorite Bible verses is Jeremiah 29:11 which says, "'I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord. 'Plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you a hope and a future.'"

Ryan is majoring in Biology. After graduating from Covenant, he would like to be an athletic trainer, physical therapist, or research scientist for the CIA or FBI.
