Biography

Ben returns to Covenant this year as a junior first baseman for the Scots this season. Prior to Covenant, he played baseball for Hebron Christian Academy where he was named an Army Reserve Scholar-Athlete.

His parents are Ken (played soccer at Southern Wesleyan) and Trina Mason. He has two older sisters, Anna and Kimberly (played softball at Mississippi College), and a younger sister, Miranda. When he is not playing baseball for Covenant, Ben enjoys playing the guitar and bass, playing ping-pong, and hanging out with friends. One of his favorite Bible verses is Psalm 127:1 which says, "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain."

Ben is a Pre-Engineering major with a minor in Physics. After graduating from Covenant, he would like to help third world countries build critical infrastructure as a civil engineer.
