Joanna or "Jojo" comes to the Lady Scots in her freshman season all the way from Dublin, Ireland where her parents have served as missionaries for several years. While at Black Forest Academy, Jojo served as team captain and was voted Most Valuable Player in her senior season.

Jojo's parents are Eric and Karen Brauer. She has six siblings: Talitha, Karis (she also played soccer for the Lady Scots), Corban, and Laurel are older than her while Elyssa and Emily are younger. When Jojo is not playing soccer, she likes to watch movies; hang out with friends; and play, listen to, and dance to music. One of her favorite Bible verses is Psalm 16:2 which says, "I say to the Lord, You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing."

Jojo is an English major with minors in Film and German. When she is finished at Covenant, she would like to have a career in film making.
