2025: Made 13 appearances with six coming as starts for a total of 25 innings pitched... Made collegiate debut on 2/14 against Greenville... Had an 0-2 record with an 11.16 ERA... Totaled 32 strikeouts for the season... Pitched four scoreless innings in relief to earn a save on 2/21 against Wooster where he recorded a career-high eight strikeouts while yielding just one hit... Pitched a career-high five innings in a home loss to Oglethorpe.

Personal: Parents are Tom and Becky Vander Veen... Has one brother, Matt... Favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28... Chose Covenant because of the close-knit community as well as the opportunity to be surrounded by those who can help him grow in his faith... Economics major... Played travel ball with Windy City Baseball for seven years and Hounds Baseball for two years.
