Covenant College

Braylen comes to Covenant this year as a freshman outfielder for the Scots. Prior to Covenant, Braylen played baseball for Westminster Christian Academy where he was a Wendy's Heisman Nominee (Sr.), Huntsville Hospital/TOC/D1 Sports Training Athlete of the Year (Sr.), Most Outstanding Offensive Player (Jr.), Most Valuable Player (Sr.), and a member of the All-Area Baseball Team (Sr.).

His parents are Rev. Brian and Melana Lashley. He has a younger sister, Hannah-Ruth. When he is not playing baseball, Braylen enjoys playing the drums and singing with his family. One of his favorite Bible verses is 2 Timothy 2:22 which says, "Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."

Braylen is planning on earning a Bachelor's Degree in Church Music from Covenant and then go on to earn a Master's Degree in Theology. Once he is finished with his schooling, he hopes to enter into the music ministry or become a theology professor.
