Biography

K.C. returns to Covenant this year as a sophomore infielder for the Scots this season. In his freshman season at Covenant, K.C. was named to the GSAC All-Conference Freshman team. During his high school years, he played travel ball for the Chattanooga Baseball Club.

His parents are Doug and Julie Simons. Doug, the head coach at Covenant, played baseball at Pepperdine University and pro baseball for the New York Mets. K.C. has an older brother, Brian (also plays baseball at Covenant) and two younger sisters, Kirsten and Paige. When he is not playing or practicing baseball for the Scots, K.C. enjoys golfing, playing basketball and ping-pong, and following his favorite MLB player, Jose Reyes.

K.C. is majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies. He looks forward to seeing what God has planned for him after graduating from Covenant.
