GREENWOOD, Ind. -Â The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released their Academic All-District selections for the 2024-25 Men's Tennis season on Tuesday afternoon with three Covenant players making the cut.
Sophomores
Brock Boehling and
Caleb Domkowski were named to the team while junior
Graham Hayes also earned Academic All-District Distinction. This award, nominated by SIDs across the country, recognizes student-athletes who have shown excellence in the classroom and on the court.
It is the first time each of these three players have earned this honor. Three players is also the most Men's Tennis has ever had in one season be named Academic All-District.Â
In order to be considered for selection on the Academic All-District Team, you must have shined in the classroom and on the court. The CSC's requirements for Tennis are as follows:
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically.
- Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA.Â
- Student-athletes must be in the lineup for 70% of an institution's day of competitions.Â
Boehling is a Sport Management major, Hayes is a Chemistry major, and Domkowski is a Business major. All three players were regulars in Covenant's singles and doubles lineups as the Scots finished second in the CCS Regular Season.Â
